A reseasrch on the experiment of the sublevel open stoping followed by filling

In view of the main problems exist in the sublevel caving method used in mining No.84 orebady of Qianshan area in Tongshan copper mine such as:difficult ventilation, stope self-combustion, earth pressure control and high ore losing and ore dilution, a test of mining is suggested which consists of sublevel open stoping followed by filling.The test results have shown improve ventilation greatly, control stope self-combustion and less earth pressure activity, which has brought about good social and economic benefits.
