Experimental Investigation on Reducing Smelting of Pyrometallurgical Dust

  • Experimental lnvestigation on reducing smelting of pyrometallurgical dust in convert furnace is introduced in this paper. The effect of some technical factors such as addition amount of coal and soda, time for slag production and stirring intensity on reducing smelting have been investigated by the method of single factor experiment. Under the optimum conditions, the direct recovery ratio of antimony is 85.48%, and the content of Sb in crude metal is 92.39%. The results indicate that crude antimony can be used in the refining process of crude lead substituting for antimony ingot.
