Nickel Foam Production by Electro-deposition

  • Due to its good properties of fluid penetration, electromagnetic shielding, sound -absorbing, impact resistance, nickel foam is widely used in fields like military industry. This paper studies the effects of coarsening time, copper sulfate content, plating temperature and the chloride ion impacting on nickel-plating. Nickel foam with high porosity rate, easily-controlled porosity shape is produced.
