Study on Preparation of Yellow CeO2-mica Pearl luster Pigments
A liquid method is developed to synthesize CeO2-mica pearlescent pigment. Based on test and analysis, the main factors are investigated in detail. XRD and SEM are used to analyze the crystal phase and the surface microstructure of the pigments. The optimum conditions are obtained, temperature 70~80℃, cover rate 30%~ 40%, pH 6.50~7.50, warm-up temperature velocity 3~5℃/min and heat preservation at 800℃.
