Damping behavior of Cu-based shape memory alloy and applications

This paper reviews the current situation and development of Cu -based shape memory alloy, and summarizes its damping mechanism and types. The damping capacity and the influential factors of Cu-Al、Cu-Zn based alloys are analyzed. Some new application fields are introduced. The paper also points out that some problems should be solved before the alloys would be popularized. Finally, some application cases have been introduced.
