Abstract
Titanium-containing blast furnace slag is a typical bulk industrial waste, and resource utilization is difficult. This paper summarized the resource utilization methods of titanium-containing blast furnace slag at home and abroad. It expounded the sulfuric acid method, dilute hydrochloric acid method, alkali molten salt method, high-temperature selective crystallization separation method, high-temperature carbide-low temperature chloride method, titanium alloy synthesis method, silicon- titanium solvent refining method, NH4HF2-HF leaching and hydrolysis method, sodium hydroxide atmospheric decomposition to prepare titanium dioxide and blast furnace molten slag to produce artificial stone directly. The advantages and disadvantages of several processes were analyzed. Through the analysis of the current situation of domestic titanium-containing blast furnace slag, combined with the advantages of the direct production of artificial stone from blast furnace molten slag in terms of capital construction cost, processing capacity, product quality, environmental protection level, economic and social benefit analysis, a prospective process was proposed for the resource utilization of blast furnace slag in the future.
