Abstract
By screening anion exchange resins, this paper selected resin D201 to study the selective adsorption performance and mechanism of vanadium in Bayer recirculating mother liquor. Under the conditions of a resin D201 dosage of 3 g/L, stirring rate of 550 r/min, temperature of 30 ℃, and adsorption time of 30 min, the adsorption rate of resin D201 reached 29.48%, and the adsorption capacity was 11.5 mg/g. The adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm results showed that the adsorption process conformed to the pseudosecond-order kinetic model, and the adsorption isotherm conformed to the Freundlich isotherm model. Infrared spectroscopy comparative analysis of blank resin and loaded resin showed that resin D201 could selectively adsorb vanadium from Bayer recirculating mother liquor.
