Research review of cassiterite flotation

China is rich in tin ore resources, but with the development of resources, tin ore is poor, fine and miscellaneous, which makes it difficult to concentrate and recover cassiterite. In order to promote the progress of fine cassiterite beneficiation technology, the cassiterite flotation technology and reagents are systematically summarized. Conventional flotation, flocculation flotation, carrier flotation, dissolved air flotation and electrolytic flotation are introduced. Flotation reagents include collectors, activators and inhibitors. The importance of new processes and reagents for flotation of fine cassiterite in the future is pointed out.
