Abstract
By analyzing and studying the distribution state, removal mechanism and physical phase of the main impurities such as lead, arsenic, antimony and bismuth in the copper fire converting and refining process, a new impurity removal agent (mainly composed of high-active carbonate containing sodium calcium) was developed. Through the production and application of the new impurity removal agent in the copper fire converting and refining process, the combined removal process of arsenic, antimony and bismuth was formed. The removal rate of arsenic, antimony and bismuth increased from 42.19%, 22.98% and 74.02% to 54.18%, 36.35% and 80.41% respectively, which ensured the stable product quality of anode copper under the condition of high hybrid raw materials and expanded the range of applications raw materials might be used in.
