Research progress in depleted copper slag in beneficiation process

  • Pyrometallurgical process is the main method used in copper smelting in China, which produced about 18 million tons of copper slag every year. Given the enormous valuable metals contained in copper slag, it is necessary to comprehensively recycle them. Among all copper slag recycling technology, beneficiation depletion has become the research focus of domestic and foreign scholars in recent years. Based on the composition and phase composition of typical copper slag and latest research results at home and abroad, this paper summarizes the research progress of copper slag beneficiation technology dilution, compares and analyzes the process flow, advantages and disadvantages of floatation and magnetic separation method, and looks forward to the future development trend of the two methods, so as to provide references for researchers in related fields.
