Comprehensive recovery of copper and gold from chalcopyrite

  • Based on the analysis of physicochemical properties of the raw ore, the chalcopyrite containing various valuable elements such as gold, silver, copper, etc. is comprehensively utilized through oxidative roasting in low temperature, acid making with flue gas, calcined sulfuric acid leaching copper, leaching copper residue cyanidation gold leaching process. Use the above process to treat pyrite with 45.85% sulfur, 1.92% copper and 1.60 g/t gold, and the leaching rate of copper is 90.09%, the leaching rate of gold is up to 70%, the content of iron in cyanide slag is 63.46% which can be sold as iron concentrate. Comprehensive recovery of valuable components such as gold, copper and iron has been achieved.
