The recovery and treatment of landscapes in nonferrous mine is an effective way to improve the ecological environment of the mines by making rational use of mine relics and realizing the functional value of the abandoned mines. On the basis of analyzing the typical cases of non-ferrous mine landscape governance in some Western countries, such as the United States and Australia, we summarized the international experience of mine relic resources landscape restoration. The present situation of landscape management of waste mines in China was briefly reviewed. Then we analyzed the problems in the mine landscape restoration in China. The results show that China's mine landscape reconstruction projects have the following disadvantages: lack of distinguishing features and single landscape form. At last, this paper put forward suggestions and countermeasures for landscape restoration and management of nonferrous mines in China from the aspects of publicity, legal policy, original landscape use, landscape form, and technical level.
