Optimization of structure parameters of gently inclined ore body by numerical simulation

  • The orebody of Ningdu pyrite is gently inclined, and its stope structure parameters can hardly be determined due to the complicated geological conditions. In order to solve the problem, 130 m level stope in Ningdu Pyrite Mine was studied based on theoretical calculation and available production conditions. The optimum scheme was determined by designing 9 mining schemes which take the span of stope, the top pillar thickness, the point pillar spacing and their size as influencing factors, and then comprehensively comparing their results through numerical stimulation of ANSYS and FLAC3D.
