Experimental study on mineral processing of a titaniferous magnetite ore in Gansu

  • A titaniferous magnetite ore in Gansu has great recycling value which contains 4.10% of titanium and 20.25% of iron. Based on the experimental study on process conditions, the process of "iron low intensity magnetic separation-high intensity magnetic preconcentration-titanium flotation" was adopted in the recovery of useful metals. Finally, the small close circuit test obtain the iron concentrate with 61.75% of iron and 43.45% of full iron recovery rate (with magnetic iron recovery rate of 86.47%), and the titanium concentrate with 50.10% of titanium and 60.23% of titanium recovery rate, as well as the flotation recovery of 85.94%. The separation indexes are ideal.
