Stability evaluation of tailing dam based on AHP-extenics model

  • AHP and Extenics model to determine the greater impact factors of the dam stability, such as bad unfavorable Geology, dry beach surface length, daily maximum precipitation, drainage systems and the blasting vibration. The results show that the larger factors affecting the stability of tailings dams are daily maximum precipitation, unfavorable geology and drainage systems, Through the calculation of the model, the security level is IV, which means that the comprehensive safety level of the dam is unstable. The research results can be targeted for tailings dam to monitoring and governance, it not only saving cost but also improving effectiveness.
