Review of dephosphorization for ferromanganese alloy

  • With the rapid development of iron and steel industry, the requirement for steel cleanliness is increasing. As deoxidizer and alloy additive in steelmaking process, the quality of ferromanganese alloys has been of great concern to the field of metallurgy. The research status of ferromanganese alloys dephosphorization slag series and its shortage for applying in the ferromanganese industrialized dephosphorization was summarized to point out the development direction of ferromanganese alloys dephosphorization slag series, focusing on analytical predication for the possibility of application of the oxide slag series containing rare earth to the dephosphorization of the ferromanganese alloys.
