Abstract
The hydrothermal reaction between 2 -(2 -pyridyl) -4 -hydroxy quinazoline and zinc acetate in CH3CH2OH/H2O solution synthesized a new complex Zn(phdq)2·2H2O(1). X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the complex 1 is a single molecular structure, which belongs to monoclinic crystal system, P-1 space group. In complex 1, there are many hydrogen bonds between molecules, which results in a three-dimensional network structure through hydrogen bonds and π -π interaction. The solid fluorescence spectra shows that the fluorescence of complex 1 enhances greatly, which probably attributes to the rigid enhancing of the structure after the coordination between ligand and metal Zn II ion. It provides certain guidance and reference for exploiting new fluorescent materials.
