An Experimental Investigation of jiangxi Tungsten flotation Tailings

  • Wolframite tailings in a Jiangxi tungsten mine were studied to explore the impacts of test conditions of grinding fineness, collector type and dosage, the amount of activator, inhibitor types and dosage on sorting indices. The types and amount of drugs are determined through a series of flotation tests, namely, inhibitors of sodium silicate of 1.5 kg/t, combination collectors GYB+GYR of 200 g/t+200 g/t, activator lead nitrate of 500 g/t. Via closed circuit test, WO3 grade of 27.43 % is obtained from low-grade wolframite tailings, with wolframite recovery rate of 53.76 %.
