Extraction of vanadium from the leaching solution from convertervanadium slag without roasting using N1923

  • In view of the high consumption and contamination of traditional vanadium extraction technology, a new process of leaching the converter vanadium slag with titanium dioxide waste without roasting was proposed. A orthogonal design and single factor experiments had been made to research the influence of each factor for vanadium extraction by primary amine N1923 in the leaching solution, the result showed that under conditions : ambient temperature, leaching solution original pH=1.4, phase ratio(VA/VO)=1:3, shaking time=2 min, the single-stage extraction rate of V can be more than 77.69 %, 4 stage counter-current extraction can reach 99.9 % meanwhile the separation rates between V and other elements can achieve a high level in the 20 % N1923-5 % octanol - sulfonated extraction system.
