Abstract
The sheet ɑ-Fe2O3 powder was synthesized using molten salt method. The changes with endothermic, heat and weight loss of the sample during the heating process were analyzed by TG-DTA curve. And we investigated that how these variables affect the sample α-Fe2O3 by detailed analysis of the crystal structure and powder surface morphology of the sample by image analyzer, SEM and XRD. The results showed that, under the same conditions the choice of sulfuric acid complex molten salt (Na2SO4 + K2SO4) with 1:1.25 of sodium potassium ratio is help to synthesis for samples. The sample form sheet better when sintering to 1 150℃ for 3 hour . The right amount of additives Al3+ can change the crystal structure, improved crystallization. While adding 4% Al3+, the synthetic samples have moderate and uniformity flake size and bright colors of the crystal particle.
