Preparation and Performance Study of a New Type of Ag-CNTs Electrical Contact Material

Abstract
A new type of Ag-CNTs electrical contact material was fabricated by chemical deposition coating and powder metallurgy method. The microstructure and performance of the new material were investigated by electronic testing machine, contact material testing system and scanning electron microscope. The results show that, compared with convenient Ag-Ni and Ag-SnO2 electrical contact materials prepared by the same process, the new material has superior sintered density,electrical property and processing property.
