Application of spray technology of wear resistant coating in CDQ furnace

  • When CDQ system in coking plant of Jiangsu Shagang Group Co., Ltd. is operated, the wear mask of boiler is badly worn, or even the ceiling tubes of boiler are worn out and burst. Spray technology of wear-resistant coating of the wear mask in CDQ furnace is studied and carried out. Through the study of wearing of wear-resistant coating in CDQ furnace, coating experiment is carried out by the use of thermal spray coating technology. Crafts of coating process are designed combining with spraying material and process parameters of CDQ in coking plant of Shagang Group Co., Ltd. Coating performance is detected by using scanning electron microscopy, micro hardness tester, universal testing machines and other equipment. Wear mask of CDQ furnace is successfully developed, and it improves the production efficiency.
