Hot Ductility Behavior Of 460 MPa Grader Steel Plate Used For Offshore Platform

  • The hot ductility behavior of Steel EQ47 was investigated by Gleeble-1500D hot simulator in the temperature range 600~1350℃ per 50℃ through high temperature tensile test at a constant true strain rate of 1×10-3s-1. The reduction in area was more than 60% at the temperature of 907~1270℃, tensile sample showed a good ductility.the third brittle zone is at the temperature of 666~907℃, it showed poor ductility and the lowest reduction was 29.44%.
