Mining methods of ore bodies with different thicknesses in a copper mine and its process optimization

  • According to occurrence state of a copper ore body, different mining methods are chosen under high temperature and high sulfur pit circumstance. Subsequent filling by sublevel open stoping mining method is optimally chosen for medium-to-thick and steeply inclined ore body extraction, while subsequent filling by explosive transportation mining method is adopted for medium-to-thin and steeply inclined ore body extraction. Structural parameters of these two mining methods are optimized. Field experiments are successfully conducted and good technological and economic indicators are obtained, which provide successful experiences for ore body mining with similar conditions both at home and abroad.
