Progress and prospect of tungsten extraction metallurgy in China

  • The new technology and process of tungsten extractive metallurgy for treating complicated ores with energy conservation and emission reduction in recent ten years have been summarized. The development on the new process for separation of tungsten and molybdenum, the recovery of tungsten from secondary resources, the expansion of tungsten chemical product and quality improvement, the application of advanced equipment with high efficiency and energy conservation are also discussed. The new achievements with self dependent innovation in the field of tungsten extractive metallurgy including process, technology and equipments are concluded. The development tendency of tungsten metallurgy are predicted according to national industry planning and policy.
