Experimental study of a refractory copper flotation applying novel agents in Jiangxi province

  • The ore property of a copper-sulfide ore in Jiangxi is complicated with high degree copper oxidation. The flotation sheet of "Cu-S bulk flotation + mixed concentrate regrinding + Cu-S separation flotation" is determined based on mineralogical analysis. WH-1# agent is used to activate copper while the combination agents white1 and white2(1:1) to inhibit sulfur. The copper and sulfur are flotated under low alkalinity condition. The grade of copper concentrate reaches 20.23 % with recovery rate of 85.76 %. The grade of sulfur concentrate attains 39.19 % with recovery rate of 65.68 %.
