Research progress of graphene/semiconductor composite photocatalyts

  • The development of graphene-semiconductor composite photocatalyts is reviewed. The new achievements in nanometer composite photocatalyts, such as Ti-based, Zn-based, W-based and Bi-based are summarized and analyzed by introducing the photocatalytic enhancing mechanism of the graphene/semiconductor composites. Graphene effectively promotes photo-generated electron-hole separation through improving the texture and absorption properties of catalysts. Thus the photocatalytic activity is increased. The research direction in the graphene composite photocatalyt is suggested.
