Research on high temperature storage performance of the lithium-rich manganese-based cathode material

  • With the lithium-rich manganese-based material as the cathode material, artificial graphite as the anode material. 4200mAh frexible package batteries are made after aseries of processes. Those batteries are stored at 15 ℃, 30 ℃, 45 ℃ and 60 ℃ respectively at semi-electric state (3.86 V) for 1 to 5 days. Ten batteries were stored under various conditions. The electrochemical properties were tested after storage.Results showed that the storage temperature and storage time have a great impact on the electrochemical performance of the batteries. On the whole, the batteries which were stored at 45 ℃ for 3 days had a better electrochemical performance.
