Research advance on the adsorption properties of cellulose and its derivatives on metal ions

  • The adsorption properties of cellulose derivative are mainly reflected through the selectiveadsorption of metal ion. Based on the adsorption properties of cellulose and its derivatives for differentmetal ions, this paper makes a review of adsorption and application of cellulose and its derivatives onblack metal ion, light metal ions and heavy metal ions in the last few decades. Also this paper brieflysummaries the recycling utilization of cellulose derivative metal ion adsorbent, and looks forward to theapplication prospect of cellulose derivative metal ion adsorbent in other aspects.
