Present situation of fundamental theoretical research on leaching process of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore

  • This paper summarizes the theoretical research developments on leaching hydrodynamics, permeability rule of in-situ leaching, leaching kinetics, leaching process selection and leaching mass transfer on the leaching process of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore. Some problems and challenges existed in the present leaching process are discussed, including leaching kinetics on aluminum, leaching process intensification and fundamental research on in-situ, need to be further strengthened.
