The processing experiment of a Pb-Zn multi-metal sulfide ore

  • The useful minerals of a Pb-Zn multi-metal sulfide ore in Jiangxi Province are characteristic of uneven dissemination size and close association. The inner part of the sphalerite is coated with the opaque like chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite, as well as the fine granular pyrite and galena. Monomer dissociation of zinc mineral is difficult for the complex ore composition. The priority flotation technologies of lead and zinc are practiced in view of the characteristics. Lead concentrate (52.48 % grade, 88.42 % recovery rate) and zinc concentrate (50.85 % grade, 84.96 % recovery rate) are attained. The silver associated is effectively enriched. This research provide basis for the relative development of this kind of ore.
