Remediation technology for river sediment polluted by heavy metals

  • This paper reviews the sediment remediation technology polluted by heavy metals on the basis of the current situation of heavy metal pollution in China. The bioremediation method of heavy metal removal is described. Bioremediation method is selected as a promising method which provides theoretical basis for dealing with the heavy metal in sediment considering the removal efficiency, processing cost and environment safety.
