Strength Analysis with FEA Method on Impellers of Slurry Pumps

  • A model of impellers of centrifugal slurry pumps for mining industry is established with Pro/ENGINEER before ANSIS5.0 is applied as the FEA software to conduct a strength analysis on the impellers with FEA Method. Subsequently, FEA on strength is carried out on two cases of pump no-load operation and with-load operation, thus providing a necessary theoretical basis for the reasonable manufacturing of slurry pump impellers.
